Friday Update

Well, it looks like we are down to ZERO days left until Extreme Day.... as I write this, I am sure that many of our team members are finally going to bed... ready to wake up the next morning for Extreme Day. It's 2 am, and things are just winding down from today. Just a few more signs to make for tomorrow, finalizing the schedule and updating the website to be completely ready for Extreme Day.

So many people have worked so hard to get us here. Many of them have given countless hours every day to make this happen (you know who you are, ladies!) And many of you have given out of your own pocket to get things purchased, volunteers fed, and so much more.

Tonight, we had a blast going to Wal-Mart and shopping for our classrooms. It if had not been for the wonderful friends and our sponsors this would not have been possible. It is thanks to their donations that this was able to occur. Thanks, thanks, thanks!

Now, we are ready for Extreme Day.... there's still a lot more work to do, and there will still be more work to do after tomorrow, but we have never been closer to our goal. God has been so good to us.

We are blessed with some of the most amazing women in the planet. We have wonderful teachers that are committed to seeing girls grow for Jesus and make an impact in this world. Our girls rock. They are the fruit of what has been invested in them by their teachers and then some. We are a family. Thanks to our friends that have lent us a hand--now you are more than just friends, you have become a part of the Missionette extended family. We love you.
